Automotive Technician

The Automotive Technician program is designed to prepare learners for entry-level employment in the auto service industry. With practical hands-on training in a certified Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) laboratory, learners will experience every aspect of automobile service and repair, from brakes to sophisticated electronic systems.

Monday - Thursday 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm |
Financial Aid is available to students who qualify.
TO REGISTER:
- Completed KTC Registration/Fee
- High School Transcript* or GED (transcript)
- WorkKeys Skills Assessment
The minimum requirements for consideration in the program include:
- Interview with the Coordinator
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES:
Certification(s) is available through the ASE National Automotive Student Skills Standards Assessment. Students will be eligible to take 10 certification tests. Certification in the field shows pride and competence in one’s profession.
