Automotive Technician

Enrolling for AUGUST 2021!


The Automotive Technician program is designed to prepare learners for entry-level employment in the auto service industry. With practical hands-on training in a certified Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) laboratory, learners will experience every aspect of automobile service and repair, from brakes to sophisticated electronic systems.

  • Automotive Service Technology
  • Maintenance and Light repair
700 hours (about 10 months)
Monday - Thursday 
5:00 pm to 9:30 pm

  • High School Transcript* or GED (transcript)
  • WorkKeys Skills Assessment
​​*If a high school transcript is not obtainable, a diploma will be accepted for this purpose.
The minimum requirements for consideration in the program include:
  • Interview with the Coordinator
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES:
Certification(s) is available through the ASE National Automotive Student Skills Standards Assessment.  Students will be eligible to take 10 certification tests. Certification in the field shows pride and competence in one’s profession.
