Public Safety - Firefighter I / Firefighter II / Instructor

Firefighting has rewards from community involvement to being able to save property and lives. You can work as a volunteer and respond from your home or work in a career department and generally work a 24/48 hour schedule.

The newest science behind Fire behavior as well as applications and techniques of Firefighting.

This program is NOT eligible for Financial Aid.
TO REGISTER:
- Completed KTC Registration/Fee
- High School Diploma (transcript) or GED (transcript)
- WorkKeys Skills Assessment (ACT/TEAS considered)
The minimum requirements for consideration in the program include:
- Interview with the Coordinator
- Driver's License
- 17 years of age and in their final year of high school
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES:
Upon successful completion of the training program(s) students are eligible to take the Ohio certification exam(s).
