LPN to RN Transition

The LPN to RN career path offers a clear avenue for licensed practical nurses to advance their education and expand their scope of practice. LPNs can build upon their existing clinical experience and acquire the critical thinking and leadership skills necessary for registered nursing roles. This transition allows for increased autonomy, more complex patient care responsibilities, and greater opportunities for career advancement and specialization within the nursing profession, leading to higher earning potential and a more comprehensive understanding of healthcare.

After completing this program you will be eligible to sit for the Ohio Board of Nursing NCLEX-RN licensure examination. The School of Nursing is approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing and the Ohio Department of Higher Education.
