Advanced Nail Technician

The Advanced 100-hour Nail Technician program at KTC will provide students with additional education beyond basic training, which will provide excellent opportunities for salon employment. Advanced education in the Nail Technician profession involves additional studies in specific areas, such as Cosmetology Laws and Rules, Public Health and Safety, and Advanced Services/Techniques, outlined in the competencies, as well as nurturing creativity and thinking skills. An Advanced Nail Technician student will also be exposed to salon work with clients, which provides experience in Salon Management, Business Skills, Communication Skills, and how to maintain positive relations with others.
 
This course matches requirements as established by the OSCBB
Enrollment Criteria
  • Complete an application and pay the $25 application fee
  • Certificate of completion for the 200 hour Nail Technician/Manicurist program or an OSCBB-Manicurist License (not Advanced)
  • Program Length: 100 hrs / 4 weeks
  • Class Meets: Mon - Thurs / 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (times may vary)
  • Location: Main Campus
