- State Background Check: BCI – NO ORC – “Other—working with children and elderly”
- If you have lived in Ohio for less than 5 years, a Federal Background Check is also required: FBI – NCPA/VCA – “Volunteer Children’s Act”
Funding Options
- Students may be eligible for grants and scholarships
- Federal financial aid is not available for programs under 600 hrs
