Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP)
Nurse aides, also known as certified nursing assistants (CNAs), provide essential hands-on care to patients in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. They assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, and monitor patients' vital signs. CNAs work under the supervision of registered nurses and licensed practical nurses, playing a crucial role in ensuring patient comfort and well-being. This profession requires compassion, empathy, and strong communication skills, as nurse aides often form close bonds with their patients and serve as vital members of the healthcare team. STNA is also the first step toward certification as a Practical Nurse

Enrollment Requirements
- Complete the process as outlined on the Enrollment page
- Photo ID and proof of residency
- Tuberculosis Screening
- Medical Release
- BCI/FBI Background Check
- Maroon Scrubs, black shoes and a watch (watch must have a second hand)
Funding Options
- Students may be eligible for grants and scholarships
- Federal Financial Aid is not available for programs under 600 hours
