Who We Are
Since 1969, Knox Technical Center has been equipping students with lifelong skills and relevant careers for Knox County and beyond. We are the post-secondary (adult education) branch of the Knox County Career Center school district. Our programs include the fields of Allied Health, Business, Cosmetology, Industrial Trades, Nursing, and Public Safety.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Ktc Post-highschool?
Knox Technical Center is an Ohio Technical Center (OTC) for adults ages 18 and up. Our programs are designed with working adults in mind. Students get right into hands on training and only learn what is necessary for a successful career in that program.
Are you a part of the knox County career center?
Knox Technical Center is a part of the Knox County Career Center School District. Our main building is on the same campus as KCCC, while our Nursing department is located on 1481 Yauger Road.
Do i need a highschool diploma to enroll in a program?
Each program has a different set of requirements that need to be met before starting class. Info can be found on our Enrollment Page or by contacting us. We offer a GED program through Ohio's Aspire Program as well as an Adult Diploma Program (ADP) which allows students to earn there High School Diploma and complete one of our eligible programs. Is Knox technical center accredited?
Knox Technical Center is fully accredited by the Council on Occupational Education (COE).

do you offer financial aid?
Yes, students are eligible for federal financial aid by filling out the FAFSA form. Not all programs are financial aid eligible. Other grants and financial opportunities may be available for qualifying students.
